Art does not show people what to do, yet engaging with a good work of art can connect you to your senses, body, and mind. It can make the world feel. And this feeling may spur thinking, engagement, and even action.
The competition enables candidates to design posters based on issues that have currently entangled into the lives of Afghan women and raise awareness among their peers. Students shall do their research and create a Poster that will induce motivation and strongly reinforce our support for those unsung warriors. The candidates had to design with sensitivity and compassion towards the issue and people of the country. Students from various prestigious colleges such as Sathyabama university, SRM university participated in the event. This year, we implemented a voting mechanism for the exhibited posters across multiple social media platforms, allowing the students to share their hard work and creativity with their friends and family and spreading the passion for Poster making on this occasion. The Interior design department lecturers and our distinguished visitor selected the three best posters from the 40+ posters exhibited by the students. The winners were bestowed with the First, Second, and Third prizes based on the jury selection. The selections were based purely on the students' innovative thinking and sensitivity towards the design concept.
