Fashion Design students of ICAT, Bangalore enthusiastically participated in the Fashion Show competition held as a part of “Anaadyanta 2015”, a techno-cultural fest conducted by NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology(NMIT), Bangalore. The event was conducted on 7 March, 2015.
The ICAT students walked the ramp with the costumes designed around the chosen theme of “Colours”. The student designers opted nature for inspiration for the fashion show in NMIT college, showcasing a collection of western dresses, unique hairstyles with feathers and elegant crepe paper accessories all featuring a floral and tribal inspired sub-theme. Male models walked the ramp with western casual and semi-formal wears, while female models wore garments with varying hem length with vibrant colours and eye make-up. The idea was to Mix and match the male and female garments by using simple things and giving a dramatic outlook. The Music, ramp formation and choreography was also formed in a classy way keeping the theme in mind.
The show was put up in front of a very ecstatic crowd of about 2000 students from different colleges across the country.
